Start A Revolution Written By: Unity Lewis (Verse 1)- Fuck rappin and fuck throwing bricks. All this rappin shits makin me sick. Cus it seems like it ain’t changing shit. Neither is when we ball up a fist. People dying out here for the revolution. Whether you make art or gun bustin. shootin. Neither choice seems to be any good solution. That’s the tools that they taught us; the tools we using. So know wonder it seems like we fuckin loosin. And the art only serves to stir more confusion. Cus no matter what side that you pick and choosing. The concept of duality is illusion. So tell me which direction do we move in To find freedom untainted from mass producing A homogeneous idea that’s suited for sheep in a simulation we all are roofed in. (Hook)- Left Right Right Left Good Bad... I don’t really know no mo. Highs and lows. Up’s and downs. Smiles and frowns. Breathing above the water, then you drown. I don’t know what it all means. (First Bridge)- No I don’t really care what you say to me. All my people is stuck on complacency. Now we livin this modern day slavery, While our ancestors died on some bravery. What we doin? These niggaz behaving G. How we livin is kinda insane to me. I’m gon’ make it all glitch like low latency. I’m gon’ make it all glitch like low latency. (Verse 2)- Man I’m about to make it glitch in this bitch. Show you all that the matrix ain’t shit. Rise from the grave like I never been a slave. I see life through my shades cus ‘we live.’ On the one; tap into that and give. On the one you discover life’s gifts. I know your tryna figure out what does it all mean. Looking for any peace of mind that you can get. You don’t wanna feel negative emotion. You want the problems of the world to all end. But it’s a reflection of the struggle that’s inside of you. So now at least you know you have somewhere you can begin. I gotta do what I gotta do not to waste time. Fuck the procrastination. You know I gotta face mine. Tell it to get up outa my way ‘cus I’ma chase mine and manifest my vision right here up in this space time! (Hook) (Second Bridge)- Wanna make it work? Go’n do your inner work child. Tryna make it work? Better do your inner work now. Wanna make it work? Gotta do your inner work now. In order to make it work do your inner work now. (First Bridge x2) (Hook)

Gun Control 02:32
Gun Control Written By: Unity Lewis (Hook)- Ery one out here is packing pistols. This life suggest you gets your issue. They at the range. They hit won't miss you. It's on. Getting gunned down out here by a bitch dude. That didn't know how to resolve they issue. You had a life but now they dismissed you. You gone. Give a bitch ass mark some chrome. That power gon’ go to they dome. Now they comin’ gunning for you at your home tryna push you the fuck up off of your thrown. This world is owned by pistol packing, country jacking, kidnapping murdering thieves That would shoot a missile if you really gotta issue. Like, ‘I don't think you muthafuckas really want beef.’ (Verse 1)- They the baddest bad ass that'll blast. While we cop a gun charge living life lower class. Tryna strip you of your pistol so you can't clap or flash. Just knowing that they past ‘bout to bring em backlash. Some people hear the word gun and they think cash. When I hear the word gun, I think run. Time to smash. I'll be damn if I'm the one ‘bout to take a dirt nap. From a fool havin’ fun tryna test out a strap. I was looking at a barrel. It was pointed at my head. Hungry nigga on the other side Threatened to see me dead. Nigga said laid down, so I did what he said. Shit I didn't punk out but I got up out the red. They don't bump heads no mo. They fill up heads with led and holes And average pedestrials and bystanders passing by have died and become vegetables. (Hook) (Verse 2)- What the fuck we bout to do with all these mothafuckin guns. Ammunition by the ton. Pointed right at Gods son. Even modern day Jesus prolly packing him a glock. He who cast the first stone is the nigga getting shot. Cops and the military guard the people on top. If it wasn't for they guns they would have to close shop. Don't no body wanna die. No one wanna get popped. So the gun run tings, wall street to the block. Bully's come around and make your whole village live stock. From here to chi-town to the real Iraq. Any lines get crossed Mo folks gettin dropped. Murder rate on the increase and it don't stop. Our society glorifies being a crime boss. We chalk it up to the game and don't value a life lost. And it really is a shame that extinction will be the cost. If we keep genociding Humanity will be washed up; Sloshed. You see these motherfuckers out here forming militias. Reptilian mind keeps us blind and vicious. When po’ folks die, they don't miss us Profiting from us sleeping with the fishes. We target practice for military theatrics Tested out by police that hunt and catch us. If they can catch us slipping then they just might blast us. They overseers of the modern day slave masters. From the whip to the clip, They keep a firm grip to own the slave ship. The guns a basic tool of control they keep by they waste kid. Wait for the right moment to grab and take it With a weapon you step in the direction of niggaz testing. No longer feel like a peasant; possession from smith and Weston Forms a world of aggression. Babies with trigger obsessions Tryna come up on your blessings. Can we change up the projection ‘cus... (Hook)

Cycle 03:07
Cycle Written By: Unity Lewis (Verse 1)- I'm sending peace to all the peeps that tried to hurt a G. It's through the tribulations faced that I unlearned to be Another tarnished artist; A 5th degree burnt MC. Like the joker they made it worse when they tried surgery. I'm an experiment. The systems not concerned with me. I came to share my love. They came to teach me perjury. A crisis normalized. Unclassified emergency. There is no urgency to have any concern for me. Woke up one day realized society might murder me. Before anybody out there had even heard of me. So medicated that it's really all a blur to me. And man sometimes not even breathing I'd prefer to be. It's so much mixed emotions inside me turnin’ B. A walking contradiction living in the dirt like seeds. I'm tryna grow but I keep getting choked out by these weeds. Until the point that I'm thinking that the weed is all I need To breath. (Hook)- Living po’ when you gotta gift Don't really make any kinda sense. And when you grow up like this You be winding up taking hella hits. When your game gets stifled and your name spells trifle gotta change how you came to represent. Coulda been from out the pain but you gotta free your brain from the cycle of the self inflict. Cycle of the self inflict. ...From the cycle of the self inflict. Coulda been from out the pain but you gotta free your brain from the cycle of the self inflict. Coulda been from out the pain but you gotta free your brain. ...Been from out the pain but you gotta free your brain. Coulda been from out the pain but you gotta free your brain from the cycle of the self inflict. (Verse 2)- Vibes is churning; feel like I'm burning. It's so much that is of concern. Will people in the world ever learn or will their existence just be adjourned. My brothers in jail literally living in hell. In fact make that prison. That's a whole other dimension Of pain you don't know about Unless you've lived in. Can't be conveyed on tell-lie-vision. Nor thru the music, when we listen. It's ‘spose to be rehab. But we blocking these stabs. Gotta keep your light up indeed fam. So these devils don't succeed fam. We stay prayed up all tho these days ruff. Gotta stay loyal to the game that made us. ‘Cus that's what saved us in our darkest hours; That faith in God is internal power That I had to call on when I was getting my fall on. But I even stay praying when I'm getting my ball on. Cus thangs could switch up and twist the pitch up but I gotta remember what I came to live up. It's easy to loose sight When you feel abused right? Praying gets your screws tight. And refocuses your sight. Sometimes I can't sleep nights Cus I'm thinking deep right. I'm trying to keep the light. Although it's a deep life. (Hook) (Bridge)- You coulda did without the pain. You coulda lived with out the pain, you know... (In variation x8) It’s self inflicted.
4.
(Verse 1)- Broken glass, Everywhere. People pissing on the gay bar thats owned by the bears. I can't take the smell. Can't take the noise. I didn't want to have to move but now I've got no choice. Rats in the front room. Roaches in the back. A trust fund baby with heroin tracks. Might have to pitch a tent because I can't move far. Got pushed out my hood. Now I'm living in my car. (Partial Hook)- They pushed me out cus I don’t have bread. My bank account is in the red. Ahahahaha  It’s like a jungle sometimes with all this damn development the hood is unda… (Verse 1.5)- Pulled up in a Benz Coupe rolling up the windows On me in the next lane; Dancin’ as my speakers blow. Snobby lady. Clutching on her bag. Peep, the silicone implants where her titty bags drag. Blood diamonds dangle. Sports a dead bengal. She serves evictions  If you’re late on the rent bitch. Down by the peep show buying up the street. The cost of livings high and you’re ‘bout to loose your home. They bought the whole city Now your Money’s so shitty You workin’ three jobs just to make it on your own. (Hook)- They pushed me out cus I don’t have bread. My bank account is in the red. Ahahahaha  It’s like a jungle sometimes with all this damn development the hood is unda. It’s like a jungle sometimes with all this damn development the hood is unda. (Verse 2)- My brothers doing bad.  Wants to be on TV Front like he got a bunch. But he’s not wealthy. No job in the day time But party’s at night. You call the nigga broke and you prolly gotta fight. The bill collectors They ring his phone. He screens his calls like he ain’t home. Flunked all his education, Steals his mamas libations, And could never hold a job because he don’t have the patience. He wrong. Sings songs ‘Bout how he got racks. Every time you turn around it’s.. “Smoke sum’; where da pillies at? A mid range copper chain, Bout to turn his neck green. How this nigga get one the gram takin selfies in front of planes? (Partial Hook)- They pushed me out cus I don’t got bread. My bank account is in the red. (sigh…) (Verse 3)- My son said ‘dad I think I’m gonna go to school Because you’re such a jerk, Don’t want to be like you. And all you do is smoke Reefa. And Mom‘s is gonna leave ya if you don’t get a job. You better be a street sweeper! Now move your feet. Turn off the beat. Where this suite and tie and Go get us somthin’ to eat. Cus it’s all about this money you can’t have baby’s that’s hungry.’ But every time I get it somebody come take it from me. His nose fell off Snorting cocaine. They took him to the Dr. Sewed his nose on again. Shot that girl Right in her heart. She didn’t have no health care so it put out all her spark. I can’t walk through the park. Cops will shoot you when it’s dark. I had to remind my son cops will shoot you if you run. They straight up kicked us out y’all. Plus they got us outlawed. Feeling low because I’m poor, When the truth is we gods. (Hook) They pushed us out cus we don’t got bread. My bank account is in the red. Say what? It’s like a jungle sometimes with all this damn development the hood is unda. It’s like a jungle sometimes with all this damn development the hood is unda.

about

This album is in part inspired by Plato’s ‘Allegory of The Cave,’ in the sense that it is about questioning and reassessing everything that we have been taught about the world, how it functions, how we operate and what is real. It is also about healing our pain from what we have been subjected to in a dysfunctional society. Within these songs there are keys to help us reprogram ourselves so that we can wake up from the simulated reality we are funneled into. If we can escape this cave of shadows that we have unknowingly been trapped in by our rulers our whole lives. From there we can possibly see the world as it truly is and take the wheel of our own lives back. Themes addressed are modern day slavery, gun culture, genocide, mental illness and gentrification. The music embodies the confusion, trauma and devastation many around the world are suffering through. At the same time it is designed to provoke all victims to become victors by reclaiming their power and breaking the chains of systemic, generational brainwash and oppression.
